2. Some things you'd better know
1. If you don't have any excursion ticket, SUICA, or PASMO, buy a return ticket before the show. Note that most of 55,000 people will leave the dome soon after the show.
2. The RED NIGHT show is on a Japanese holiday, so many of the restaurants and bars nearby may be closed, except ones on adjacent to the site of Korakuen amusement park. If you want to have a decent food before or after the show, you may go to Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, Tokyo, Shibuya and other subcenters of Tokyo where many restaurants and bars are open on holidays.
3. THE BLACK NIGHT show is on a weekday, so you can go anywhere to have a dinner. If you want to make it economical, you'd better go to Ochanomizu, Suidobashi (on the opposite side of Tokyo Dome) and Jinbocho (you can walk) because they are student towns. You may walk along the Route 17 and find many good restaurants.
4. The Bunkyo Civic Center is directly connected to Kasuga and Korakuen Stations. It has an observation floor on the 25th floor open from 9:00 to 20:30 free of charge. You can have a great view of Tokyo for three directions including Skytree and Shinjuku Subcenter. You cannot see the southern view because there is a restaurant.
